Getting Started with R/C Sailplanes:

From slope sailing or hunting thermals, R/C sailplanes offer an unending challange.

Whether you've had a background with R/C planes or are just getting started, there are many types
of sailplane you can fly. In addition, PASS offers the opportunity to get involved in competition almost
every weekend.

One of the most common events with R/C planes, is crashing within the first few seconds of your first flight.

There are two ways to reduce your risk of this occuring:
1. A computer R/C plane flight simulator.
2. Finding someone to teach you to fly.

The other aspect to keep in mind is the type of plane to start with. OK, so you've decided that gliders or
sailplanes are cool, but maybe an electric trainer, liked a slow stick can give you more hours of practice
then a 10' wing span, competition sailplane.

Please be patient - We will have more information on how we can help you get in the air, soon.
